Clarion Suites Gateway located in Melbourne's CBD is a 4.5 star hotel with 122 rooms. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Receptionist to join our Front Office Team on a full-time basis.

We are a hotel committed to developing a motivated team, passionate about service standards and guest satisfaction.

BASIC FUNCTION:
To ensure guest service is of the highest standards, displaying at all times a professional, competent attitude and commitment to exceeding guest expectations.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
• Greet and welcome all guests.
• Guest registration to include check in/out.
• Cashiering to include foreign exchange and balancing daily transactions.
• Handle guest queries.
• Liaise closely with all departments in the Hotel, particularly Housekeeping and Maintenance
• Dealing with reservation inquiries and group tours

REQUIREMENTS:
• Previous Front Office experience in a hotel environment would be looked at favorably.
• Previous experience using OPERA Front Office software would be preferred, but not essential as training will be provided to the right candidate
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Friendly, personable and outgoing personality.
• Committed to providing superior customer service.
• Ability to work shift work including weekends and public holidays.
