The Victorian Wine centre is seeking and experienced Chef / Cook to join its small team.

Offering quality food, fantastic coffee, beautiful wines and welcoming environment, We are seeking a creative Chef/Cook to assist in delivering well-presented and quality dishes that the locals and regulars have come to expect.

We are searching for a Chef with a background in Café & Breakfast venues plus tapas style cooking for dinners Thursday & Friday Nights that takes pride in their presentation and are able to be creative in their approach while still respecting the local produce and ingredients used.

• Min 3 years experience in a high-volume cafe
• Ability to be self motivated
• Confident across all sections of a commercial kitchen
• High level of communication in a pressured environment
• High level of attention to detail in presentation and flavour of your dishes
• Availability to work weekends
• Be up to date with the latest in cafe trends

Must be able to work independently, be neat and well presented. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking of meals, identifying new dishes for growing menu and keeping kitchen clean - complete food prep.

Ideal candidate must be able to work the following days/hours

Thursday & Friday 10am - 9.30pm

Saturday & Sunday - 9am - 4.30pm
