Our Highpoint campus is an early learning environment designed for every child to feel safe, nurtured, stimulated and happy. Our brand new, architecturally designed campus features state of the art learning facilities built specifically for the development of each age group as well as an outdoor playscape complete with handcrafted treehouse, bike track, water play area, sandpits and sports court - drenched in afternoon sunlight. We offer Cafe style dining and have an interactive kitchen which allows children to be a part of the meal preparation!

We work closely with a credited nutritionist and chef, who works with all our cooks and dietitians to develop a 4 week rotating seasonal menu that meets children's needs, taking into account nutritional and energy requirements as well as cultural and health needs.

Other duties will involve

Assisting with the ordering of the weekly/fortnightly shop

Upholding the cleanliness and ensuring that the kitchen operates within the National Quality Standards and governing regulations.

Requirements

A completed Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is ideal but not essential

A creative and cooperative team member with previous experience running a kitchen - ideally in an early childhood environment but perhaps aged care or a similar environment committed to excellence in all things food

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
