Food 4 Thought and Corner Cafe are two very fast paced cafes on Deakin's Burwood campus. We make all of our displayed, catered and made to order food in house ourselves and roast our own specialty coffee.

We are currently looking for a full time chef to help us create and prepare quality, fresh food for students, staff and visitors to both stores.

As the Chef, your role will be to:

- lead a team of kitchen staff

- order and control stock and wastage

- direct report to Cafe Manager

- oversee food production ensuring fresh, abundant and great looking displays

- ensure quality of food produced is of a high standard at all times'

- ensure catering is delivered on time, is well presented and meets customer's expectations

- oversee and cook made to order menu

- and some degree of menu planning
