Busy café in the heart of vibrant Kew junction is seeking an experienced barista all-rounder who is hard-working, friendly and reliable. Part-time and full-time positions available. We use a La Marzocco Linea PB 2 group head machine. Day shifts only, no nights, finish 4pm daily * Great wage based on experience Ideal candidate will have * More than 2 years experience working in a similar role * Uncompromising standards for coffee and customer service * Ability to develop a strong friendly relationship with regulars, e.g by getting to know their names, chatting with them etc. * Good knowledge and eagerness to learn about coffee, including hand brewing, cold drip, * Experience with ordering, managing costs, stock rotation, maintaining cleanliness of the espresso machine and general cafe and following food safety requirements * Ability to keep coffee and milk wastage to a minimum * Ability to work under pressure with excellent time-management skills * Strong work ethic and be a team-player with excellent staff communication skills If you are interested, please send your resume to Alex at [email protected] OR Come in and introduce yourself!
