Our client based in the Northern suburbs specialise in flooring, trade supplies, engineering and metal fabrication and are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager for their Engineering department.

The purpose of your role is to assist with general administration of the Technical Store and ensure all goods as dispatched and received in a timely manner.

Your key duties include:

  • Overseeing the office administration of the Technical Store including delivery of agreed product and product assembly as per customer requirements
  • Generating and maintaining relevant documentation, invoices, customer records, stock controls and reporting
  • Organise transport for goods dispatch
  • Actively follow up sales and outstanding quotes
  • Maintaining a structured contact plan that is continually tailored to improving relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Assist with stock & dispatch enquires as required
  • Responsible for stocktake and stock control
  • Ensure housekeeping of Technical Store and showroom
  • Be willing to be hands on as required in the warehouse
  • Are OH&S compliant

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience in a similar role ideally from an engineering background and be technically minded
  • Motivated and a forward thinker
  • Willing to learn and lead by example
  • Possess a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Forklift licence would be advantageous
