Visy is a leading, privately owned packaging and resource Recovery Company, with more than 120 sites across Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and Vietnam and trading offices across Asia, Europe and the USA.

The main objective of the role is to ensure a high level of safety is adhered to at all times while operating the Grab Forklift.

This position reports directly to the Corrugator Supervisor.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Ensure that a high level of housekeeping is maintained at all times.
• Ensure reels of correct size, grade and numbers are available at the Modual Facer and Double Backer in the correct
  order throughout the shift, ensuring the corrugator does not stop due to paper supply.
• Unloading paper from containers and storing in the correct location in the paper warehouse. Ensuring all stacks are neatly and safely stacked. Alerting Corrugator Schedulers to any supply / stock level issues
  Ensure equipment is correctly maintained; that maintenance is performed to keep machines within specifications and in Safe working order
• Maintain Safe work & operating practices; maintain a high standard of housekeeping during production, at shift end and at scheduled maintenance.
• Regularly review work processes and assist in identifying improvements to process and procedures.

To be considered for this role you will need to have the following capabilities;

• Excellent Communication Skills
• Computer literate
• Great Organisational skills
• Team Player
• Previous Forklift Experience (minimum 1-2 years)
• Grab Extension Experience highly regarded (7 tonne)
• Prior Fibre Packaging industry knowledge - highly regarded
• Ability to work a 2 week rotating roster: Day shift - 7am -3pm / Arvo shift - 3pm - 11pm
