Chandler Macleod are currently looking for 2 experienced Business Development Managers to work for our client based in Mentone to commence immediately in a full time permanent capacity with a competitive salary on offer $70K- $90K plus super depending on experience plus car allowance

This a full time role (38 hours a week) however the working hours required will largely depend on the business requirements

**To be considered for this role you MUST have previous relevant experience within the cleaning industry

Business Development Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and tender on appropriate sites as they come up for tender as per a frequency nominated by the company

• Maintain and expand a register detailing as sites/contracts are coming up for re-tender (for both company held contracts and non-company held contracts)

• Tender on and win new work in the medium to large contract area and small to medium contract area as per the company’s direction and policies and procedures

• Manage Client-Company relationships with a focus on promoting the company brand in a positive manner at all times. Ensure that operational staff are maintaining a consistently good standard at all new worked obtained.

• Manage all cost areas associated with the Business Development Manager role in Australia to meet budget expectations.

Key Performance Indicators:

* Financial Management

  • Costs

    • Manage Corporate card expenses in line with company policy and budget

    • Manage Travel and accommodation costs in line with company policy and budget

    • Manage Phone costs in line with company policy and budget

    • Manage General Expenses in line with company policy and budget

    • Manage repairs and maintenance in line with company objectives and budget

    * Revenue

    • Generate additional revenue via new work and value adding at existing contracts
  • Gross Profit

    • Meet Gross profit targets on all of the client’s builders cleans

    • Meet Gross Profit targets on client’s value added work

    • Meet Gross Profit targets on all of the client’s refurbishment work

    • Meet Gross profit targets on all new work won and all re-won work

    * Contract Management

    • Hold monthly meetings with clients

    • Assist Operations Team in whatever way necessary to maintain a good standard of work and ensure that work under re-tender is re-won

    • Client Relationship Management

    • Meet with Site Contract Manager during any on site visit to sites client provides cleaning services at.

    • Ensure site performance is at a good standard.

    • Assist Operations Team in ensuring that all the work won by the Executive is delivered as per the cleaning specifications to a high standard on a consistent basis as assessed/deemed by the client

    * Administration Management

    • Ensure once sites are transitioned to operational group that it is passed over at a high standard with all procedures, processes, insurances and systems in place.

    • Save all work onto the server as per the naming system.

    * Safety and Environment Management

    • Assist Operations Team in delivering zero OH&S incidents at all sites under management.

    * People Management

    • One on One meetings with all direct reports on fortnightly basis

    • All meetings documented and actions addressed
