THE PRACTICE

We are a dynamic advisory, business services and taxation firm located in the inner eastern suburbs and pride ourselves on our strong client service ethic, embracing our role as trusted advisers to our clients by delivering on our promises and ensuring our knowledge and advice is relevant and contemporary. Due to growth and expansion we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant.

As a Senior Accountant your role will include:-

• Working closely within the team and with the Partners as you are introduced to build upon current relationships with clients.
• You will utilise your strong interpersonal and communication skills along with your superior technical knowledge to lead and coach the team, helping progress the goals of the firm and our clients.
• You will have experience in processing jobs from inception to completion, including managing and reviewing work of junior staff. A sound knowledge of all fundamental taxation and accounting principles, the ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, be proactive and meet deadlines.
• Provision of tax advice to a variety of our clients.
• Engage with new and existing clients by addressing their requirements and assisting and managing, small to medium sized enterprises, high net worth individuals and SMSF with tax compliance, financial statements, statutory reporting, compliance and other.
• Identify and lead opportunities for practice development and operating efficiencies through continuous improvement initiatives and leading technologies.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL:-

• 4 – 8 years’ experience as Accountant/Manager in an Australian Business Services/Taxation environment, including SMSF
• Successfully completed the CA/CPA Program
• Have proven ability in reviewing workflow, coaching and mentoring
• Ability to build a strong rapport with your team and build enduring client relationships and nurture the existing client relationships
• Be personable and have exceptional communication skills
