Due to business growth and succession planning, we require a new addition to grow a portfolio of commercial general insurance clients in partnership with the Director. This is a full-time role.

About the opportunity

Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial general insurance clients in partnership with the Director. There is the opportunity to take over your own commercial portfolio and focus on new business development.

Specific responsibilities:

• Development of new business and the retention of existing business
• Ensure compliance with all FSR requirements
• Processing on Winbeat Sunrise and SVU
• Use of DMS – Officetech
• Prepare quotation slips for submission to underwriters
• Acting as a point of contact for clients and underwriters

Skills & Requirements

• Tier 1 RG146 accreditation - broking
• Significant prior experience in General Insurance experience
• Proficient in MS Office
• Proven ability to easily build rapport and a friendly demeanor
• Familiar with the following systems:
  • Winbeat
  • Sunrise
  • SVU (Steadfast Virtual Underwriter)
  • Premium Funding Software
