A short-term assignment for a strong Accounts Officer is available within a department of the government.
Your new company
A Government department is seeking an experienced accounts clerk to support their finance team whilst a member of staff is away on a period of leave.
Your new role
Reporting to the office manager, you will be responsible for:
- End-to-end Accounts Payable function
- Payroll processing
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in the creation of reports for month-end reporting
- Adhoc duties where required
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a similar Accounts clerk generalist role under Australian laws and regulations
- Understanding of payroll
- MUST HAVE: TRIM and Oracle experience
- Experience with Procurement is highly desirable
- Intermediate excel skills (vlook-ups and pivot tables)
- Demonstrated the ability to work as a part of a team and autonomously with limited guidance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Adaptable, reliable and efficient
