Are you an experienced Business Advisory Services Senior Accountant looking for your first move out of Professional Services? Alternatively, are you looking for you next BAS Accounting role within Commercial Accounting? Read on!

The role

Reporting to the Partner – BAS Taxation, you will be responsible for management of our high net worth clients’ accounting and tax requirements. You’ll have a true client first, customer-centric approach and establish and maintain long-lasting relationships with our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements and attending to taxation compliance for companies, trusts, individuals and partnerships.
• Provision of effective tax planning and structure setting.
• Attend to and review bookkeeping of all payroll and associated matters – superannuation contributions, WorkCover insurance, payroll tax etc.
• Assist the Tax Partner with advisory projects as required

To be successful in this role you will possess

• Significant demonstrable experience in a professional services practice, preferably in a Chartered Accounting firm.
• Proven experience in financial accounts preparation and taxation compliance for all types of entity structures.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business/Accounting/Commerce.
• CA/CPA qualified.
• A customer-centric approach and the ability to truly partner with our clients.
• Help create, foster and operate in a highly collaborative team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with initiative and an enthusiastic and energetic approach.
• Commitment to attend clients premises when required.
