The Role

Working with the operations team, our truck driver will be responsible for providing timely waste collection services, working to agreed schedules to deliver a high quality standard of work. Specific responsibilities may include:

• Provide essential services in collecting, carrying and disposing of a range of waste & recycling
• Attend to basic maintenance of vehicles.
• Maintain a clean operating vehicle
• Conducting pre-start and post vehicle check lists
• Accurate and timely documentation and log books

The Candidate

To ensure your success in this role we anticipate that the successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 2+ years driving experience
• Current HC & Forklift Licence
• Current Australian Drivers Licence
• Waste industry exposure highly regarded
• The ability to meet deadlines and problem solve
• Good communication & customer service skills
• A strong commitment to safety
