Job Description

This Financial Accountant role will be responsible for General Ledger and Financial Reporting duties. Reporting into the Financial Accounting Manager, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Month end duties (balance sheet recs, intercompany recs, journal posting, etc.)
• Monthly cash flow statement (incl. FX)
• Preparation of statutory accounts (BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax, etc.)
• Preparation of annual budgets
• SOX testing
• Any other ad hoc duties required to assist the team

The Successful Applicant

In order to be successful in obtaining this role, you will be working towards or fully CA/CPA qualified. First time movers from Big 4 or Mid-tier firms will be considered for this position. Exposure to a US-listed organisation will be highly advantageous, understanding SOX-compliance and US GAAP principles. You will possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Experience with large ERP systems will be a strong advantage.
