This role will see you working for MoleMap Australia, who has since 1997, seen over 250,000 patients through their 50 clinics across Australia, New Zealand and United States. Located at MoleMap’s South Melbourne offices and reporting to the Financial Controller, this initial 12-month maternity leave contract role will offer you the opportunity to be recognised for your genuine experience, capability and knowledge, which, will feed directly into the wider success of the organisation.

Day to day this Accounting role will be varied with a main focus on the responsibility for daily accounting activities including, but not limited to: -

  • Month End procedures
  • Tax compliance and statutory filing
  • Cash flow forecasting and management
  • P&L / Balance sheets
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Reconciliations
  • A/R – A/P management (small quantity)
  • Oversee payroll
  • Business analytics

It is very important that you are able to demonstrate strong hands-on accounting experience, be able to work autonomously, whilst also being able to deliver process improvement, show initiative and excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. You will have sound computer skills (advanced Excel – Pivot tables / Vlookup, Xero) and have a high degree of numeracy with the ability to build strong relationships through your positive and results driven attitude. Being flexible, adaptable and open to new concepts, with a focus on attention to detail, maintaining confidentiality and having a professional and can-do manner at all times will also be important. A tertiary qualification in accounting or commerce will be a requirement for this role. It would be an advantage but not compulsory to have a CA or CPA.
