About the role

The ideal candite should be familiar with the following required tasks:

Business Development

-Identify market opportunities and define the related marketing and sales strategies and approaches.
-Develop an efficient and capillary sales network in the sales area according to the following scheme:

-Primary targets: Australia, India and the Asia Pacific Region
-Secondary targets: China

Sales management

-Prepare Sales Budget
-Managing relationships with the most important customers
-Managing the sales personnel and the sales network
-Organising and participate to the main fairs related to building sectors in the sales area

Administration

-Budget (yearly forecast of the balance sheet)
-Handle all financial and accounting matters relating to the Employer and in particular produce, or procure the production of, quarterly financial statements including:

-Profit and loss account
-Statement of assets and liabilities
-Operate and monitor the existing bank account(s) of the Employer signing bank facilities and checks on behalf of the Employer .
-Appoint and dismiss employees as may be required for the proper conduct of the Employer
-Appoint lawyers and attorneys to act on the Employer's behalf
-Accept bills and money orders, cheques, bank draft payment orders or other securities for money drawn in favour of the Employer. To ask for, demand, recover, receive and collect all monies due and payable to the said Employer in connection with its business from any person or persons, company or association, including any statutory body or authority, government or semi-government and to give good valid receipts and discharge thereof
-Represent the Employer before all third parties including official and semi-official department, ministries and municipalities
-Generally negotiate, agree, sign and execute any document or contract necessary or expedient for carrying out all or any of the purposes or acts hereby authorised

Logistic

-Manage all the main relationships with logistic partners
-Supervision of internal logistic (monthly stock list, goods movements from different warehouses etc.)
-Supervision of external logistic (priority of delivery, delivery costs and efficiency etc.)

Communication with PROGRESS PROFILES SPA

-Establish a continuous and affordable communication channel with the commercial and administrative departments of PROGRESS PROFILES SPA
-Reporting regularly to PROGRESS PROFILES SPA (at least once a week by voice and in written form and otherwise as directed from time to time)
-Organise, at least one per year, a meeting in Italy with the management of PROGRESS PROFILES SPA

Skills and experience

The ideal candidate should:

-Demonstrate relevant experience (2 years minimum) in the market and track records of successfully running a subsidiary of a multinational company.
-Speak fluently both in English as well as Italian.
-Preferably have a technical degree
-Be willing to travel for 70% of the time
-Be willing to cope with the time difference with Europe for communications
