Our client a leader in their field is one of the world's largest freight management and supply chain organisations, serving their customers with integrated supply chain solutions that deliver cargo by Sea, Air, Road and Rail.

They are now seeking an experienced Cartage Coordinator to join the team, looking after one of their key clients, this role will be based in Tullamarin.

Key Accountabilities for this role are:-

  • Extensive liaison with internal/external departments to support their transport requests and vice versa.
  • Pre Planning transport to meet client's requests and maximise profit
  • Customer contact to help focus on the fleet and meet deliveries
  • Computer and clerical duties (EDI Cargowise proficiency is highly regarded.)
  • Preparing documentation for drivers and following through to make sure all customs and AQIS procedures have been carried out and met
  • Working closely with the Control Tower Team to ensure effective utilisation of company equipment , resources and compliance with OH&S standards
  • Management of ad hoc projects as required
  • Maintaining general housekeeping of the Victorian Branch office to comply with company OH&S policy
  • Organising the daily pick up and deliveries from FCL, LCL and Airfreight depots

To qualify for this role you must have the following skills and experience :

  • 2 year minimum industry experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Good knowledge of Cargowise / EDI Enterprise
  • Time management
  • Communication Skills
