Australian owned and operated we are located in Botany NSW are currently seeking to employ a dedicated Carpenter trades person for the fabrication & installation of stages and sets in various venues across Sydney and occasionally regionally or interstate, preferably with industry experience but not essential. The successful candidate will be a person who wants to make an immediate contribution to the company and is seeking a change from the day to day of building industry.

• Ability to prioritise upcoming calendar
• Possess a positive, motivated and outgoing attitude
• Provide excellent customer service and be able to communicate in a clear and courteous manner.
• Be able to work well in a team environment.
• Be able to work well autonomously and when under supervision.
• Must hold a current driver’s license
• MR truck licence, Forklift license and First Aid Certificate would be an advantage.
• Any set building, construction or CNC experience is a plus

Key Duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for the efficient running of a crew and production of a high quality custom finish to each job out on site
• All custom set components are packed ready for delivery, installation and all necessary tools and materials are packed
• Maintaining all equipment to a high standard
• Liaising with internal departments and customers regarding deliveries, discrepancies and shortages
• Follow WH&S standards
• Maintaining the warehouse and all tools and machinery in a clean & tidy manner.
• Working with our carpentry/manufacturing departments from time-to-time to help complete custom builds.

Base $55,000 – $65,000 Bonus, Super and Overtime
