We are a leading Window Furnishing Company – (manufacturer), for domestic and commercial applications. We are seeking a full-time/permanent part-time installer/service technician ready for an immediate start.

Located in the Eastern Suburbs, established for 15 years, specifying, manufacturing, selling, installing, cleaning and repairs of window treatments and motorisation across Melbourne.

We will supply you with a vehicle and tools required.

Duties:

• Installation of Blinds – Indoor & Outdoor (Roller, Venetians, Verticals, Auto Arm Awnings, etc.)
• Repairs on-site to existing customer blinds, Indoor & Outdoor
• Perform some heavy lifting and high ladder work
• Visit scheduled appointments with clients.
• Understand clients' needs at the time of checking measurements
• Provide exceptional quality of installation and services
• Be willing to learn new skills (such as repairs)
• Problem solve on-site.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong Personality to work with clients across a broad range
• Be pro-active and take full ownership and responsibility for your actions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Skilled Tradesmen with limited blind knowledge/experience are also encouraged to apply
• Eligibility for Working with Children Permit (if not already in receipt)
• Willingness to obtain (if not already in receipt) of working with heights, including scissor lifts and knuckle booms
• Valid Driver's Licence, must be able to drive manual

Our technician hours are Monday – Friday 7am – 3pm.
