About the role:
The Accounts Receivable Assistant is responsible for assisting in the operation, control and maintenance of the accounts receivable system and its database to ensure accurate, timely and efficient billing of clients and residents, assisting clients/residents and families and care advisors/facility managers with fees enquiries, debt collection, the accounting and reporting of fees and charges information, and assisting the accountants with reconciliations.
Skills and experience:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounts receivable or similar role, preferably in the Aged Care Industry.
* Proficiency in English language, both written and spoken
* Numeracy skills
* Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, to prioritize and multitask
* Excellent phone manner and commitment to a high level of customer service
* A keen eye for details
* Highly developed interpersonal skills with proven ability to form good working relationships with a range of stakeholders
