Bizwear a privately owned company based in Bayswater Victoria, is looking for a trainee accountant/ accounts payable person to join its business. Bizwear designs, supply's and manages corporate uniforms for large companies throughout Australia and overseas.

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Accountant you will be trained initially in all tasks associated with accounts payable, coding, data entry, batching, payment runs and reconciliations. You will also be given exposure to all functions of the accounts team. Over time your responsibility and tasks will increase with your knowledge, to include general reconciliations, bank reconciliations, month end reporting and much more.
Training will be provided giving you an opportunity to develop your skills and learn about the operations of our business.

Essential Skills you will posse

While some previous experience is not mandatory, strong computer skills particularly in excel along with a working knowledge of MYOB or Xero will be viewed favourably.
