ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – COLES
Brand Influence Group (BIG) is an industry leading experiential and field-marketing organisation that provides an outsourced solution for mobile workforce optimisation. Our mobile workforce community is over 1,500 strong across Australia and includes experts in fields such as; brand representation, sales, planogram and visual merchandising.
Due to our fast growing environment, we are in search of a proactive and innovative individual to work as an Account Executive for one of our largest clients, COLES .
This role is ideal for individuals who have 2 years plus experience in an accounts, retail or FMCG environment, although not a necessity.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience in FMCG - Sales, Retail, Accounts or related role.
- Worked collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders across a broad range of products/categories.
- Actively supported the implementation of projects and strategies within a team or customer environment
- Strong written & verbal communication skills, ability to create influence
- Ability to work on multiple tasks, including ad-hoc requests.
- Proficient Excel skills
- Delivered results in a fast paced project environment
- A reputation for determination, integrity and strategic thinking
- Ability to work independently – head office located out of state
- Proficient management experience and people skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with the Coles Account Team to translate sales plans into the executional / field plans to drive sales and in-store excellence through the BIG field team
- Measure, monitor and effectively communicate performance, progress and results between the BIG field team, BIG head office staff and Coles team
- Design job briefs to communicate the job priorities to the field team
- Track the ongoing progress of the layout and ensure cost is adhered to as per quoted amount
- Support the communications and operations lead in ensuring layout implementation is supported
- Have the ability to manage accounts (jobs) on behalf of Coles Relay from sales to completion
- Co-ordinate activation tasks for field team execution by utilising BIG process and systems
- Create meaningful Q&A for field teams to help drive quality in store execution and compliance
- Develop a variety of weekly activation / status reports deliverable to Coles customer teams and internal operations
- Provide effort based costing based on Job Scope provided
- Working with a field team of 100+ people efficiently and effectively to deliver the desired outcome.
- Operational eye for detail, managing the progress of jobs on a day to day basis to ensure expectation/results are delivered in time & in full
