About the role:

Due to our organic growth and recent acquisitions in VIC, we are looking for a Sales Representative to assist in driving our growth. Reporting to the Victorian Sales Manager, the Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining client relationships and developing new business. Your duties will include but will not be restricted to:

  • New Business Development of Commercial & Liquid Waste customers
  • Service and retain existing accounts, obtain orders and establish new Commercial & Liquid Waste accounts
  • Write and deliver proposals and plan daily/weekly visits to your customers
  • Keep Management informed on activity and results, weekly work plans, and monthly/annual territory analysis
  • Market research on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques
  • Recommend changes in products and services to Management
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
  • Work as a team to accomplish results
  • Provide historical records by maintaining data on area and customer sales
  • Dispute resolution and following up on customer complaints
  • Manage, update and maintain client information in the company database

About You:

  • Minimum 2 + years’ work experience in a business development capacity
  • Demonstrated knowledge in portfolio growth and retention
  • Strong commercial business acumen
  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of office software packages (MS Office)
  • Own transport and current drivers licence
