The Client:

Our client is an Australian owned manufacturer of very niche fixing and fastening systems used in the commercial construction industry. They offer the clients a genuine ROI on the systems and they are fully accredited to meet ISO regulations.

Our client is well financed and have an outstanding reputation for the quality of their technology spending a fortune on Research and Development. They have seen steady growth in both revenues and GP in recent years and now looking to recruit a sales person to spearhead their operation in Melbourne.

The Role:

They have an office in the South East but you will be home based on either side of Melbourne and the focus of your customer base is in the Metro area, however you will be required to travel both interstate and internationally as required in order to meet your customer’s requirements.

The role is varied in the sense that you will be focused on managing an existing account base of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC Contractors but also dealing with OEMs & Commercial Builders.

They have a strong brand in the market and often the sale is led by demonstrating the cost savings in labour that the client will make by investing a bit more at the front end on a superior and more modern technology.

As such this is a key role and require an applicant with a good understanding of structuring a sales process and selling a premium product.

The Candidate:

You will be a seasoned professional, it is highly likely you will come from a trade or technical background and that you have moved in to a sales role. It is also likely that you will also have experience in selling a niche product ideally within the construction or manufacturing industries, experience is not a pre-requisite if you can demonstrate high level B2B sales success in a technical field.
