Who you will be doing it for:

Your future employer specialises in the design, development, and distribution of power transmission solutions. Although headquartered in Italy, they have a global presence that spans over 3 continents.

With a long standing industry history, they are one of the most established power transmission experts globally. This organisation also has a fantastic working culture, with supportive management that encourages continuous growth.

What you will be doing:

As Sales Engineer, drives sales for power transmission solutions, such as gearmotors, inverters, gearboxes, and electric motors to name a few. You will also work on securing new business accounts within your area of responsibility.

Focus on leads in the engineering, manufacturing, or electrical sectors. Set your sights on prospects within said markets, from engineers through to company directors. Generate quotations for deals made and be prepared to follow up on the same as necessary. Take advantage of the company’s CRM for a more efficient reporting process.

Provide clients with technical information - as well as sound advice and recommendations - about the power transmission solutions that best suit their needs. Moreover, identify any technical issues they have and show them how your products can help solve these specific problems.

What you must have to apply for this role:

• Previous experience in the power transmission industry
• A couple of years' experience as a sales engineer, preferably field based

You will be highly regarded if you also have:

• A background in the sale or operation of hydraulics
• A self-motivated and driven personality
• The willingness to work autonomously
