A national distributor of leading brand mobile industrial equipment needs an additional Sales Account Manager to service continuing business growth in Victoria.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, your key to success will be to build the strong business relationships with new & established customers that lead to long term sales orders.

Accordingly, your key tasks will be to:

  • Provide a high level of customer service to established and prospective customers.
  • Maintain prospective call plans for face to face meetings and networking.
  • Identify business opportunities and develop strong relationships with present & potential customers.
  • Develop sound technical knowledge of product applications, features and benefits.

The ideal person we seek would have:

  • Good Mechanical aptitude...so a Trade background would be well regarded.
  • Industrial product sales & service experience...field sales and/or trade desk.
  • A strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to assess customer needs, solve problems and follow up.
  • Time management skills...ability to organise, plan the work and work the plan.
  • Ability to cold call new business leads, and present features & benefit points of difference.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy.
  • Availability for regular travel throughout the state, as most of your work time will be out there, "in the field".

This position is a great opportunity for a well organised, active Sales Professional to join an established leader in their market segment. Commencing base salary is negotiable in the range $80 - 85k, plus Car, super, phone and iPad.
