About the position

• Hours: Full-time, Mon - Fri
• Location: Bayswater

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will learn all facets of Warehouse Operations, purchasing and importing skills, and counter sales. Your daily tasks will focus on two core areas; Warehouse Operations and Counter Sales.

Warehouse:

• Receiving, checking and unpacking deliveries
• Pick and pack orders
• Assembling stock items
• Stock Management and generating dispatch documents using our computer software
• Purchasing, both local and import

Counter Sales:

• Serve customers and implement sales techniques
• Collaborate with management and implement marketing and new sales initiatives
• Maximise sale opportunities and generate new leads
• Shop stock management and merchandising

Skills and Requirements

Prior relevant experience in plumbing, warehousing, sales, customer service or a trade is beneficial however NOT essential if you have the aptitude to learn.

However you will need to possess the following:

• Completion of VCE
• A clear desire to pursue a career in leadership or sales
• Leadership experience in either work or non-work settings eg: Sports Captain, Work Supervisor etc.
• Well presented and personable
• Currently living locally
• Excellent communication skills and a customer service approach
• Competent in computers
• Current driver's license
