We are seeking Expressions of Interest for the role of National Sales Manager, reporting into the GM Sales.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a leader who has a strong sales performance background who can effectively add value to each of our State based Sales teams, working alongside them to have an impact with all their major customers.

This position will appeal to high performing sales leaders, who can demonstrate highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence. This role has 5 direct reports, with a total team of 20, and reports directly into the GM of the Australian Sales Function.

This is no role for the faint-hearted. There will be challenges – and opportunities. You’ll have been around long enough to know that winning small opportunities, today, with the ‘right’ clients – and sticking with them – is the key to tomorrow’s success!

What will I be expected to deliver?

  • provide leadership, direction and guidance to the State Sales teams to ensure continued growth.

  • monitor State business performances against pre-determined targets, and thrive on creating strategies and tactics for your team – and driving these by influencing and motivating.

  • have a strong record of outstanding accomplishment and a sincere interest in leading and managing others. You like to involve yourself as much as your team in getting big deals across the line.

  • have the ability to build relationships internally across Head Office functions and add value externally, to each of the State-based teams.

  • be experienced driving a high performance culture by setting key performance targets, providing regular performance reviews, and leading by example.

  • thrive in a collaborative work environment, partnering with Key Account Managers, Category Managers, and the Marketing teams to maximise the ability to achieve overall BWI sales targets.

  • be confident with various system platforms, including; CRM, ERP, and analytical tools. You should be able to undertake analysis on customers and sales, and maximise opportunities.

  • execute excellent presentation skills for appropriate trade shows & sales conferences either customer or state sales team related.

What else do I need to know?

This is a National Sales role. Frequent interstate travel is required to ensure you immerse yourself with your State based teams, and our customer base.
