About the role

As an Account Manager this inside sales role will see you manage Small & Medium Business relationships with corporate customers and agents in every corner of the country. You will be responsible for driving sustainable revenue and profit growth within your portfolio, establishing business relationships and leading the Post / StarTrack brand with local businesses.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Develop and implement customer-centric strategic account plans to effectively prioritise sales effort, protect existing revenue, and ensure a deliberate approach to maximising revenue growth of StarTrack’s small to medium business accounts.
  • Engage with customers on key retention activities through the full lifecycle of the customer contract, including renewing existing contracts, conducting annual price reviews, and reviewing surcharge compliance.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities within customer accounts to cross sell into complex and multi-product solutions, drawing on Sales and Solutions Specialists as required to build, propose and close more complex new business contracts.
  • Deliver a seamless customer experience by coordinating engagement and interaction between the customer and StarTrack specialists across all activities, including service, sales, solution design and implementation.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience selling standardised B2B solutions to small to medium customers in a contact centre environment, including identifying, qualifying, proposing and closing sales opportunities.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Demonstrated experience applying portfolio management strategies for an allocation of small to medium business customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience building strong relationships with customers in a fast paced environment and applying influencing skills to achieve sales targets.
