Vaporetto, Venetian Bar and Eatery in the buzzing suburb of Hawthorn is on the hunt for hospitality professionals to join our team and be a part of something truly special and unique.

Vaporetto is located beneath the Lido Cinemas on Glenferrie Road and has been open now for 2 years. During this time we have established ourselves as one of the busiest and most highly regarded venues in the area, with a loyal following of regular clientele.

Trading 7 days for dinner and from midday to midnight across the weekend, Vaporetto focuses on fresh handmade pastas (approximately 6 or 7 types any one day) and quality grilled "lagoon" seafood and meats, supported by our Cicchetti offering (Italian tapas).

Our Drinks List focuses on the very best of Australian and Italian wines with an amazing spirit list, banging cocktails and imported and local beers. We have created a true slice of Venice in the heart of Hawthorn and aim to become known as one of Melbourne's best.

We are looking for experienced wait staff with a minimum of 2 years experience in a busy restaurant environment, as well as uncompromising standards and can make it all seem effortless and endlessly fun. A love of Italian food and wine is a must, along with an exceptional work ethic, attitude, loyalty & longevity and most importantly - a positive outlook on life in general.
