About the role
Porters is seeking a Sous Chef to support the Head Chef. Taking care of food purchasing and storage. As well as maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
Able to produce high quality consistent food and have great attention to detail. As part of your role you will be required to train staff and carry out preparation in all sections.
You will also be running the kitchen when the Head Chef is absent/off.

$60K - $65K + Super
40 - 45 hrs per week

Skills and experience
To be considered for this role as Sous Chef you must have
- 4+ years experience as a Sous Chef.
- Have experience running service whilst the head chef is absent.
- Certificate III Commercial Cookery
- Managing a small size brigade
- Food Safety & Hygiene standards
- Ability to work a Flexible Roster
- Strong Leadership skills
