SOUS CHEF REQUIRED

Uncle Restaurants is looking for a young chef to further his/her career as a sous chef for

our Collins St venue. We are looking for the right person to work alongside our

Head Chef Kush Nagarkar and Executive Chef Dai Duong.

Duties required

*lead the team in the absences of the senior chefs

*manage day to day running of the kitchen

*understand cogs and administrational tasks

*work alongside head chef with menu changes

Skill

*able to teach and cook at a high level

*knowledge of Asian cooking techniques and ingredients

*good knife skills

*communication skills

*be a qualified chef over 3 years experience

For the right candidate there will be future management training, we want someone looking for a work/life balance with 2 days off and 4 weeks annual leave.
