We are currently looking for an experienced Sandwich Hand to join our team of passionate kitchen professionals at one of our Defence Cafes. In order to be successful in your application, you must have previous experience in a commercial kitchen, be able to start at 6am and have a ‘can do’ attitude!

Key duties:

• General food preparation and providing assistance to Chefs – including bulk sandwich making
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen including washing dishes
• Stock rotation and stock control
• Follow our health and safety procedures when carrying out all tasks
• Assist with general kitchen duties under the direction of the Chefs

The Person

• Experienced working within a commercial/comparable kitchen
• Bulk sandwich making experience highly desired
• Knowledge of OH&S guidelines
• Impeccable personal presentation – corporate hospitality environment
• A 'can-do' attitude and great work ethic
• Ability to take direction, work within a team and unsupervised
