About the business

The Recreation is a local Bistro and bottle shop in Fitzroy North. We obtained 1 chefs hat 2017-2018 and have a strong and dedicated service team providing a unique experience for our guests. Our small seasonal menu has some European influences on the local produce, cooked in Melbourne style.

The kitchen is well appointed with space and equipment. Chefs are experienced and professional.

About the role

The role will be a part time Chef de partie position of 25 hours per week over 2-3 days of mostly preparation work, cooking recipes and completing a daily prep list.

Skills and experience

The right candidate will need to have 3 years experience in similar restaurants and be flexible with days and hours. We expect good presentation and punctuality.
