A Cafe/Restaurant in Ivanhoe East is seeking Part Time Kitchen Hand (up to 30 hours per week).

We are seeking an enthusiastic team member to join an exciting new venue due to open at the end of January/early February 2019.

To be considered for this role you should:

- Have positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn

- Be clean, tidy & presentable

- Works well in a team and under pressure

- Have solid communication skills

- Your own transport, unless local (rear parking)

- Availability on weekends and public holidays

- Food Handling qualification

This role will provide any young aspiring chef to develop advanced skills & necessary learning to achieve success. The successful applicant will be taken under the head chef’s wing and moulded into the best he/she can be in a kitchen environment, covering all aspects of the industry.

Looking for the right candidate to help create a successful hotspot in an iconic location, working with a friendly, hardworking and professional team that goes above and beyond to produce outstanding food, coffee and service.

Our focus is fresh and seasonal classic French/European influenced cuisine with a strong local clientele.
