Responsibilities

• Working alongside and supervising all kitchen team members ensuring excellence and consistency in the product delivered to customers
• Running stock control and managing all BOH food and wage costs
• Enforcing daily and weekly systems and procedures to ensure a high level of presentation, hygiene, service, and product quality
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and food standards
• Recruiting, inducting, training and rostering of BOH team members

Required Skillset

• Significant experience in a similar leadership role
• Experience in the setup of a new kitchen/restaurant
• Experience in driving, motivating and developing a small team
• Strong commitment to quality regional produce and food hygiene
• Strong organisational planning and time management
• Experience with controlling costs at the ground level on a daily basis
• Ability to work weekends and public holiday
• Have all relevant industry certifications
• Maintain superior standards of product consistently
• Have a positive and energetic attitude
• Experience working within gross profit levels and expense budgets is of benefit
• Experience working in a Franchise system is of benefit

Other Key Deliverables

• Good communication skills with an approachable manner
• Develop collaborative relationships with the Venue Manager and leaders to provide quality food and prompt service to our customer.
