About the opportunity



This is not your average Head Chef role where you will clock in, clock out and making sure things are ticking over in your absence.. this is a role where you will be required and need to have the ability to develop classic ideas to add excitement to the menu.

The location is in the city's inner suburbs, and has had a reputation for years to as a serious food destination - they love to experiment so anticipate interesting menu items and specials with locally sourced seasonal produce.

The highly skilled Head Chef will have creative freedom to work with venue manager and express yourself on the plate.

The candidate

  • Previous Head Chef or Exec Chef experience working for a premium, high volume restaurant or venue
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confident costing menu's, writing SOP's, managing wage costs, recruitment, and auditing
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Advanced industry knowledge. Creative flair
