In this position you will be responsible for the management of the functions kitchen including costings, menu planning/ design, food preparation, ordering and service. You will be encouraged to use your creativity and lead the production of unforgettable dining experiences for our events.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Menu preparation and service for large functions
  • Managing the full kitchen function for all events
  • Maintaining stock levels and ordering
  • Assisting with the development of new menus
  • Always be up to date and on top of hygiene practices and OH&S, HACCP
  • A passion to deliver the highest of culinary standards
  • Menu design, labour and food costings and assisting with budgets
  • Provide a seamless and on time service for our guests

ABOUT YOU

  • Trade Qualified
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a high volume professional functions kitchen
  • Excellent organisational skills & the ability to adhere to a strict production schedule
  • Committed & Enthusiastic
  • Ability to work as part of a dynamic and flexible team
  • Availability to work a flexible roster, including nights and weekends as required
