Our hotel in RICHMOND is currently recruiting for an experienced second chef to assist our experienced head chef. We have a function space that can hold in excess of 200 people; along with a public bar and newly renovated beer garden.

Experience is a must.

The function space is booked out every weekend; generally servicing a variety of events. Typically, either canapes or set menus and main meals are served.

We are excited to host the best of modern Australian bar meals with local fresh produce and 10 beers on tap to suit. Meals are available 7 days a week from 12:00 pm -3:00 pm and 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.

Ideally you are...

- Passionate about food and service

- Looking to build and maintain a career in hospitality, eager to learn and develop

- You already have experience in a similar working environment

- You are happy working as part of a team

- Suited to working in a large commercial kitchen

- Knowledge of food, matching and responsible service of food

- Always looking for ways to exceed chefs’ expectations

- You are a team player, with a positive attitude and happy to work in a busy and enjoyable environment.

Day to day tasks would generally include:

Kitchen food prep, function food prep, dealing with kitchen staff, cooking for functions and bar meals.
