About The Craft & Co Farm:

The Craft & Co Farm is a 40 acre property with vineyard, cafe, cellar door and farm site, with live music on the weekends.

About the role:

We are looking for a driven, passionate, energetic and experienced Cook to join the team over Summer in this very busy winery cafe`. You must be able to work day times from Thursday through to Sundays. Immediate start is required.

Requirements of the role:

• Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Preparing ingredients to use in cooking.
• Cooking and plating up.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our standards.
• Assist the team in stock control and ordering.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach to co-workers and customers.
• Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitised at the end of the shift.
• Resourcefully resolve any issues as arise and control any problematic situation.
• Solid knowledge of food allergies.
• Able to multi-task, with good time management skills.

Applicants must have:

• Must have at least 6 months experience as a Cook.
• Capacity to commence immediately.
• Staff who will ensure brand integrity and culture.
• Own transport. Access to public transport is limited.
• Capacity to work Thursday - Sundays (day time only).
• Good food preparation, cooking, plating and presentation skills.
• Excellent kitchen maintenance and cleanliness.
• Follow food safety requirements.
• The ability to work well under pressure, both autonomously and with front of house.
