The Position

We are currently recruiting for two casual Cafe / counter & Kitchen hands at our Longford Gas Plant which is 20 minutes from Sale in Victoria.

We are looking for energetic and experienced attendants to join our team and hit the ground running. We require dynamic and passionate coffee professionals with a hands-on approach to all aspects of café duties.

You will need to be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Monday - Friday from 4:30am – 02:00pm.

• Making barista style coffee in high quantities
• Coffee machine cleaning and maintenance duties
• Washing up and general cleaning
• Adhering to Food Safety requirements
• Taking orders from customers in a friendly and engaging manner
• Provide outstanding customer service at all times

The Person

Minimum requirements:

• Previous kitchen hand experience is essential
• Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Previous experience making barista style coffee
• Great personal presentation
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Willingness to jump into any task required, cleaning, food preparation and customer service
• Strong awareness of Hygiene & Food Safety Standards
• Must hold a manual driving licence and a national police clearance
• Cert II in Hospitality will be highly regarded
