Thriving Cafe Seeks Part Time Barista with Specialty Coffee Experience to work a minimum20-25 hours per week, and with the view to moving to full time hours for the right candidate.

The Boot Factory in Coburg is seeking a stellar part time barista to join our passionate coffee team.

We are open 7 days a week, serving a range of specialty coffee and tea offerings, alongside creative fresh juices, craft beer, wine, cocktails, and a delicious brunch menu.

Our ideal candidate would:

- Have a genuine & keen interest in coffee making, with a desire to learn more and expand their existing skill set

- Recognize that good coffee is as much about service and friendliness, as it is pulling a good shot

- Have experience making specialty coffee in a fast-paced setting

- Feel comfortable and confident dialling in multiple types of espresso, and tasting and fine-tuning batch brew

- Enjoy working as a team to develop and improve drink recipes and weekly specials (it's fun)

- Conduct coffee team meetings and tasting sessions, review and develop product range accordingly

- Know how to milk share, and maintain a clean bar while working efficiently

- Demonstrate experience both working alone, and as a barista pair on the machine

- Be willing and able to hop on the floor and fill a more all-rounder role when needed (this is primarily a barista role, but versatility is valuable)

- Be available to work busy weekends

Any experience with Mythos and EK-43 grinders, La Marzocco Linea PB and MarcoBru batch brewer a plus.
