System Administrator job, CBD Location, 6 month contract potential perm, Construction industry, $360 - $430 pd

My client is an established Construction company based in Sydney CBD, who have a portfolio of existing and future projects adding to Sydney's changing skyline. They have seen steady growth over the past 5 years and are now looking to add to the existing IT team.

Your new role
I am looking for a skilled Level 2-3 System Administrator to join a small IT department. You will be working along side a capable team of support engineers based across ANZ and will be required to work on escalations as a senior point of contact when required. You will ideally be able to lead the remote support team members as a centralised team leader for the IT support staff. You will have proven experience with complex issue resolutions, be solutions focused with the ability to fix and guide others. You will be an excellent communicator as you'll be responsible for all Desktop and System Administration tasks including User Support, Hardware/PC setup, ongoing maintenance and administration of servers and systems.

What you'll need to succeed
3 years experience within a busy user facing IT environment. You will have proven Level 2-3 technical skills ideally with the following technologies:

• Windows 7 & 10
• Systems Administration tasks including installation, configuration, maintenance and upgrading of workstations, servers and related hardware and software
• Provide investigation, diagnostic testing and repair/resolution of OS, networking, hardware, software and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with external service providers and consultants.
• Administration of Office 365, Symantec End Point Security and Active Directory
• Exposure to Construction Based Software (Job Pac & Aconex) desirable but not required
• VPN/Network Connectivity
