This major financial institution are currently in the process of building their financial crime division, resulting in several opportunities based in the CBD for Senior AML Analysts. Your new role

As a Senior AML Analyst, you will form part of a fast-paced and collaborative team who are responsible for the detection, analysis and assessment of AML related activity. Your role will more directly involve:

• Reviewing AML alerts and successfully identifying suspicious activity
• Conducting Enhanced Customer Due Diligence processes
• Conducting Quality Assurance assessments
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of AML/KYC regulatory requirements
• Performing Overseas Financial Institutions and KYC requests
• Monitoring and acting on AML alerts in a timely manner

What you'll need to succeed

As a Senior Analyst within AML you will possess relevant experience and expertise such as:

• Sound knowledge of AML, KYC and Security related processes
• Experience within operations or customer service relations within financial services
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to maintain a high attention to detail
• Good investigative and analytical skills
