SQL developer required for leading insurance company based in the city.

Your new company

One of Australia's largest insurance companies is looking to bring on a SQL Developer to develop and maintain SQL analytical and ETL code and adhere to agreed standards and good practices.

Your new role

As the SQL Developer you will understand, analyse and size user requirements, develop and maintain SQL analytical and ETL code, optimise and tune SQL code to ensure optimal performance, develop and maintain system documentation and work within a state of the art, greenfield Dev Ops environment. You will also collaborate with data consumers, database development, testers and IT support teams.

What you'll need to succeed

* Expertise in SQL

* Knowledge of metadata/model driven frameworks

* Experience working within an agile environment

* Experience reverse engineering end user SQL code

What you'll get in return

This is an initial 6 month contract working for a large well known organisation in a supportive and flexible environment.
