Job Details

Do you ?

- Like the idea of going to work each day with the express intent of helping as many people as you can (which doesn’t mean giving a lot of people a small amount of assistance, ‘helping’ means doing everything you can to ensure that you advice and actions are unquestionably in the best interest of the person you are assisting)

- Have a willingness and the ability to provide support to our customers located around Sydney, Australia and overseas by telephone, remote access and on-premises work when required

- Have experience in network and desktop support, of primarily Windows-based environments and the desire to continue to grow your knowledge

- Want to work as part of a small and dynamic team and the flexibility in work hours that only small businesses are prepared to give

- Like to own problems and do you take pride in finding the right solution, as opposed to the easy solution

- Possess great communications skills, both verbal and written, as well as the ability to relate technical problems and solutions in terms that non-technical people can understand

If you answered “Yes!” to all of the above and are looking for a permanent full time position based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches (well, almost, we’re located at Frenchs Forest) you should definitely get in contact with us. We are looking to employ the right person asap.

The ‘right’ person will be great with Windows 2016, 2012 and 2008 server operating systems. They might know CentOS or RedHat too, which would be a bonus. They will understand and have had experience in managing virtualised servers and SAN environments. They will have worked with and understand Exchange Server 2016, 2013 and 2010. They will be proficient with data backup solutions, anti-virus/malware solutions. They will understand IPv4 (IPv6 would be a bonus) and have a good working knowledge of border security systems.

You don't necessarily have to have designed and built all of the above (we wouldn’t complain if you had) but experience in using, managing and/or maintaining all of the above is required. We expect that you will hit the ground running and embrace the additional learning that will be available to you to develop in to the system designer/architect/engineer that you want to be.

We are a small team, so the opportunity to be involved in almost all our projects and to provide assistance to almost all of our clients will translate in to a broad exposure to many people, places and systems. Most of our clients have been with us for 5 years (some as many as 15 years) because we are high in integrity and honesty. We know our stuff, most IT companies do, but what sets us apart is our genuine desire to help people meet their objectives which extends to our clients as well as our own people.

If you feel that you're a fit with what we're all about and that you have the 'right' experience and attitude, please get in contact with us.
