Temp to perm opportunity!!

An opportunity has arisen for a storesperson to join this global leader within an engineering, environment. This role has the opportunity to go permanent if you meet client expectations. Client will be conducting interviews so please ensure your resume reflects skill sets!!!

This client is located in Derrimut and is looking to fill this casual position immediately. Hours are 7am to 3.30pm (2hrs paid at time and a half).

Casual pay rate is initially $24.41 p/h then increases to $35+ p/h after 6 months (as well as 2hrs overtime each week!!).

Duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Pick items using computer generated pick slips

Pack goods in accordance with company documented policies.

Inwards/outwards goods.

Participate in all company stocktakes and conduct variation investigations.

Stock rotation.

Forklift driving.

Deliveries to clients

Ensure all customers orders are shipped according to customer required dates.

Maintain good housekeeping standards.

Ensure a safe working environment is maintained and safety procedures adhered to.

Assist other departments as and when required

Must be able to work in Australia (either an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident).

This position will suit an individual who:

Has previous experience using SAP or other WMS.

Has previous warehouse experience.

Has a current, valid, drivers licence.

Who has a valid, current forklift licence.

Is a team player.

Believes a strong customer focus is critical to success.

Prides themselves on attention to detail.

Is comfortable with freight/shipping documentation.

Strives for excellence.

Demonstrates, and applies, strong OH&S principles.
