Our prominent client is a member of the FTSE 100 leading companies, looking for a dedicated person who will lead warehouse operations, ensuring high quality of orders and supplies as well as a timely distribution of the stock to branches.

The duties and responsibilities include:

· Managing a small team to ensure smooth operation of stock in and out of the warehouse

· Liaising with Freight companies and suppliers to enable efficient and cost-effective movement of stock

· Maintaining and updating our inventory management systems, track, forecast and document stock orders

· Ensuring that all quality based concerns are raised for appropriate follow-up

· Taking part in regular auditing and reporting activities to ensure quality and reliability of the process

· Ensuring that the daily stock is in compliance with business targets

· Complying with Global supply chain processes, forecasts and order cycles

To be successful in this role, you must have:

· Previous experience with inventory management and dealing with large amounts of data

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent time management and organisation skills

· Team management and interpersonal skills

· A high level of internal and external customer service skills

Advantageous if the applicant has:

· Forklift Licence (notcompulsory)

· 2-3 years of operations or store management experience

· Familiarity with Navision and its application is desirable
