ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Casual role available to work across both Housekeeping and Food Services departments, located at Mercy Place Wyndham.
  • Provide housekeeping and laundry services in line with the Mercy Health Model of Care, ensuring quality resident-focused care utilising a person-centred approach
  • Food Services Assistants assist with the delivery, preparation and heating of meals for residents
  • Ensure meals are prepared and served according to individual residents’ dietary requirements
  • Ensure dining areas and kitchen are kept clean and safe at all times

ABOUT US:

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping and/or laundry operations within Healthcare, Aged Care or similar industries
  • Food Safety Handler certificate – Level 1 (highly regarded)
  • Experience in large-scale catering and Aged Care is highly desirable
  • Ability to operate in a team environment and prioritise during peak periods
