About the Department
Cambridge House is a 30 bed aged care facility in Collingwood, caring for people with behavioural and psychological needs who are looked after by a skilled and compassionate team of Registered and Enrolled Nurses.

About the Role
An opportunity currently exists for a Housekeeper to join the Cambridge House Team on a part time permanent basis. This position is for 14 per week. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible to contributing to the dignity and quality of life of the residents within a safe and comfortable environment.



Classification for this position is GV9 ($46,900 per annum).



Duties

• Adhere to weekly and daily periodical cleaning schedules
• Prepare and serve food and drinks to residents
• Assist in preparing the facility for Accreditation
• Undertake infection control training as scheduled by the Manager
• Attend team meetings as required

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Food Handling Certificate
• Previous experience with food handling and cleaning is essential
• Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• Highly developed communication skills
• Previous experience in a hospital and/or residential facility would be highly desirable
